Tools
Policy Aide is an AI-powered research assistant that helps you navigate humanitarian policy documents. Select one or more reference documents, then ask questions in plain language to get contextualised, sourced answers.
See the Policy Aide & data privacy section below for full details on how your data is handled.
Policy Aide is available to registered users only.
The Talking Points Builder helps you prepare for advocacy meetings and briefings. It draws exclusively on a curated, collaboratively reviewed humanitarian wiki — so figures are current and traceable to source.
It offers two tools:
- Thematic Advocacy Brief — select a thematic focus and generate a sourced one-pager, ready to use for a meeting brief, donor pitch, or advocacy note.
- Advocacy Assistant — a conversational assistant grounded in the country wiki. Use it to back up specific claims, ask questions, or refine existing messages with up-to-date facts and figures.
You can also access the full Humanitarian Wiki for deep research on any supported country.
The Talking Points Builder is available to registered users only.
Crisis Coordination Rooms are private collaboration spaces for humanitarian teams working on a shared crisis or response. You can browse available rooms from the public listing. Accessing a room requires a registered account. Some rooms also have private hubs, which are accessible only to invited members.
Crisis Coordination Rooms are not yet available in beta.
AI & Data Privacy
All tools on Aidvocate.one are AI-assisted in some form:
- Policy Aide and the Advocacy Assistant (within the Talking Points Builder) involve direct conversational interaction with an AI model.
- The Thematic Advocacy Brief and the Humanitarian Wiki use AI to generate and maintain content, but without direct user interaction.
Your messages are processed by Mistral AI, a French company fully subject to GDPR. We chose Mistral specifically because, as a European company, it is not subject to the US Cloud Act — meaning your data cannot be compelled to be shared with US authorities. Your messages are sent to Mistral solely to generate a response and are never used to train any AI model.
When you generate a brief, only your thematic keyword or selection is sent to DeepSeek — no name, email, account information, or session identifier. DeepSeek receives no personal or sensitive information and cannot identify you from what it receives.
Conversation data from Policy Aide and the Advocacy Assistant is automatically and permanently deleted after 24 hours. You can also delete your history at any time using the Delete history button in each tool.
All data is processed and stored exclusively on our own secure server hosted in Helsinki, Finland (EU). Nothing is sent to third-party cloud storage providers. Our server runs entirely on renewable energy.
As a registered user of Aidvocate.one, you have the right to access, correct, and erase your data at any time. Use the Delete history button in any tool to remove your conversation history. For any other data requests, contact us at contact@aidvocate.one. You can read our full Privacy Policy for more detail.
